Unlike other ceiling cassettes, the MrCool® DIY® Series OuttaSight™ Ceiling Cassette doesn’t have strict installation requirements in less than ideal locations and can be recessed between all types of joists on 16 inch center, including pre-manufactured I-joists. Since it doesn’t require ductwork or wall space, it is perfect for both new construction or retrofits.
